hi bg_ghassen,

1/ The WS-server side port used to call the external WS is the one provided through the external WS URL.
2/ I never try this use-case. Have you try the parameters 'proxy-*' as mentionned in the documentation of Petals BC SOAP

Hi,

I do not understand why you need 2 petals server to do that? Can you explain more?

Ok,I will try to add the ‘proxy-‘ in my jbi.xml.

Other question
Can I use this configuration, I have 3 servers and I want to :
1. Install a Web service in axis 2 (server n° 1).
2. Install Petals on server n° 2 and server n° 3.
3. Install a bc-component (with proxy parameters) in server n°2 that calls a bc-component in server n° 3. And install the bc-component tin server n°3 that reference the external WS.

This configuration has no sens. You should use a Petals topology with two nodes (server 2 and 3)
On Petals server 3, install the BC SOAP and its SU 'provide' that call your external WS
On Petals server 2, install BC SOAP and a SU 'consume' that calls your SU 'provide'.

CDE, there is a constraint "need to communicate with WS". Looks like the petals distributed topology can not be used for now since the transport layer is just NIO-based. Hopefully, I have this WS communication layer on my sandbox and it will be pushed to the ESB soon.

While waiting for this feature, can you authorize another communication protocol between nodes?

Hi,

Can you give more details?
Do you expose a Talend job deployed in Petals as a web service? Or do you invoke a Petals service from a Talend job? In both cases, the port of the SOAP BC can be changed in its jbi.xml file.

Yes, check the BC SOAP user documentation against 'http-port'

The BC SOAP is listening on HTTP port defined by the parameter 'http-port' (8084 by default). I don't known how to set it on the Talend side.
