Service engine development.

Jérémie Doucy
Dear all, I'm currently writing a service engine which will be able to manage and automatically calls some previously declared endpoints.
Here is my question, how can I add a new endpoint to the NMR manually when the service engine start ? This endpoint will be used to manage some specific operation on the service engine.

If I understand correctly, you will add some administrative operation to your SE ? The right way is to expose them using JMX.
In a conceptual point of view, endpoints should be registered through service units 'provide'. So you can create a dedicated service unit for these operations. But endpoints will be available when the SU starts, not the SE.

Ok, in this case I will provide a standard su deployable on my se which will provides the needed endpoint. I don't want to use JMX because I prefer using bus binding components to expose administration task (throught BC-SOAP for example).
Thanks for this advice.
