Thanks for the info. Christophe Deneuw told me that as well, a few days
ago, look like it's for everyone.
We have to take a look.

Hi !

I'm actually working on a bpel orchestration using easyBPEL and I've got some trouble with, I think, namespaces. The orchestration is just composed of an assign :

Code:

<bpws:sequence>
   <bpws:receive createInstance="yes" name="Receive"

      variable="AnalyserRequest" />

   <bpws:assign name="AssignTest" validate="no">
      <bpws:copy>
Hi,

SE BPEL behaviour is to re-send attachments for any exchanges if there is one in the input exchange.

However attachements are still a work in progress and are expected to be fully functional for next release.
Hi,

When I post a message (create a new topic?), I get a few emails like that:

Code:

This is the mail system at host mail.ebmwebsourcing.com.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message.

Hi,

I'm trying to use a service based on the FTP component in a BPEL process. I'm currently trying to invoke the mput operation but I can't find a way to assign the attached file...

In the the ftp.wsdl the mputRequest does not mention any file (a connectionType only), while, for instance, the mgetResponse does mention a file... Am I missing something?

Hi,

tbarbey wrote:

The problem is that I want my transfered file to be exactly the same than my original file... An ftp transfer is not supposed to change anything in the file

Definitely.

In fact, you are putting a text document in the XML message, and this is why the component must consider it as an XML document.
I would rather expect non-XML files to be passed as attachments rather than in the XML payload. But I don't know how it is managed in the component for now.
Maybe Mathieu can answer. But he won't come back before Monday.
The problem is that I want my transfered file to be exactly the same than my original file... An ftp transfer is not supposed to change anything in the file

Anyone has an idea?
Hi,
If you send a XML message with the sample client without specifying the encoding. The default JVM encoding (OS encoding) is taken acount.
Then if the XML message is manipulated anywhere in petals, the transformers used are configured to set the XML declaration, with the encoding.
It is important to specify explictly the encoding in a XML message (and encode the file accordingly ), otherwise you can have trouble with distributed environements (Petals domain) and different OS encodings.
Hi,

I invoke a service based on the FTP component using the sample client like that:

Code:

      <ver:put xmlns:ver="http://petals.ow2.org/components/ftp/version-3.0">
         <ver:body>Informations d?biteurs;;;;;;;;Informations enregistrements Factures/avoirs;;;;;;;; Nom D?biteur;N? et Nom voie;Code postal;Ville;Code Pays;Siren/siret;Code Clt ou cde fast fact;Code adh?rent;Type pi?ce;N?facture ou N?avoir;Date de pi?ce;Montant TTC;Devise;Date Ech?ance facture;N? de Facture concern?e par avoir;Mode de paiement;</ver:body>
         <ver:filename>testasazaze2.txt</ver:filename>
      </ver:put>

And I get on my ftp server testasazaze2.txt which contains:

Code:

[b]<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>[/b]Informations d?biteurs;;;;;;;;Informations enregistrements Factures/avoirs;;;;;;;; Nom D?biteur;N? et Nom voie;Code postal;Ville;Code Pays;Siren/siret;Code Clt ou cde fast fact;Code adh?rent;Type pi?ce;N?facture ou N?avoir;Date de pi?ce;Montant TTC;Devise;Date Ech?ance facture;N? de Facture concern?e par avoir;Mode de paiement;

I don't understand why I get that:  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Any idea?
Hi,

As per your directions, I installed Petals-Platform 3.0.5 and Petals Web console 2.0.2. But I am having problem in installing petals-se-rmi in Petals Platform.

I think this is creating problem with Web console. Can you please suggest, if I am going wrong?

The steps followed:

Petals Platform
1. Installed Petals platform 3.0.5.
2. Set PETALS_HOME environment variable "C:\example\JAR Files\petals-platform-3.0.5\petals-platform-3.0.5"
3. Run - Petals platform in console mode.
4. Downloaded petals-se-rmi-1.1.1 and copied in install folder. (Showing Error )
Yes, you can download and install Petals 3.0.5 and WebConsole separately.
I advise you to use the latest release (platform version, 3.0.5).

There are some huge updates between these versions (JVM 5 to 6, etc.).
I just developed a new BPEL process. I tested it with SOAP UI and everything works perfectly. Then I tried to test it thanks to the Sample Client and I get a message about assignments errors (again ):
